Year 6 trip to Eden Camp
As part of their topic learning about World War II, Year 6 went on a trip to Eden Camp to learn more about what life was like during the War.
Eden Camp is on the site of an old prisoner of war camp near Malton, West Yorkshire, which has been turned into a interactive museum that is open to the public.
Year 6 spent the day checking out the exhibitions and finding out what it was like during WWII. The museum offers a broad insight into all aspects of the social and military history of WWII, as well as WWI and post WWII conflicts.
It was a very insightful day and our Year 6s came away feeling like they had learnt alot.
