Coronavirus - Update
The Government is asking parents to keep children at home whenever possible – schools remain open only for children who need to attend.

I wanted to share some very sad news that we had over the Easter weekend.

Khadija Ali, in Year 4, unfortunately died recently.

Khadija was an incredibly friendly girl who always had a smile on her face. She was a valued member of her class and always worked really hard, despite her complex medical needs.

Khadija never let her condition affect her life at school and she loved Oakwood very much.

We will really miss her humour and her positive outlook on life. All of our staff and all of our students send our deepest sympathies to her friends and family.

Khadija’s family have said “She loved Oakwood very much, was very happy at school and had lots of friends.”

If you or your child need support at this time please do not hesitate to contact us. Khadija’s death is unrelated to the current coronavirus pandemic.
