Nursery Closure Letter 23/07/2021

Dear parents/carers,

I want to let you know that we have had a staff member/pupil test positive for COVID-19.

Following the guidance and instruction from the Government, the Department for Education and Public Health respectively, we must isolate Nursery staff and pupils for 10 days including weekends. Your child will need to isolate until Thursday 3rd August even if they do not have any symptoms of coronavirus and feel well. If your child contacts COVID-19 symptoms at any time during this period please arrange for a test as soon as possible and contact the school with the outcome of that test.

It is important that students isolate at home and do not meet up or mix with other students and people, even if they don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms during this period. During school hours, it is the expectation that all children continue their studies at home. This is crucially important.

We have undertaken a thorough deep-clean of the academy for those pupils and staff who will continue to attend. We continue to feel confident about the steps we have taken to protect pupils and staff. Public Health has instructed the academy that any siblings you have in different year groups/bubbles can continue to attend the academy unless anyone in your household group develops COVID-19 symptoms.

Thank you for your support.

Yours sincerely,

Miss R Aasim
