Spring 2 Week 6 Newsletter

Spring 2 Week 5 Newsletter 6 - Attendance extravaganza. Stories and 'Lots of socks'.

Attendance extravaganza

Next half term we are having a huge attendance extravaganza. Attendance is all about our families working together with school to get pupils in and learning. Each week families with children who have 100% attendance will be entered into a prize draw for a family hamper. Children will be placed in the ‘in it to win it’ draw with lots of prizes to be won. At the end of term those children with 98% attendance will have an in school gaming treat and their families will be entered into a prize draw for a supermarket voucher.  You have to be in it to win it!

Stories

Year 5 have written stories and this week they went to reception to read the stories to the children in that class. The children use different voices to the delight of those who were listening. Well done Year 5!

‘Lots of socks’

Children and staff in school wore fancy socks, stripy socks, spotty socks and some even wore odd socks. This was to celebrate and raise awareness of World Down Syndrome Day.  We love all of the socks!
