Attending every day is really important. Each day missed means that pupils do not get the chance to experience the full curriculum. Talk to Karen, Jane, Miss Aasim or Miss Spivey if you need support. 

Did you know ….

Fair trade 

Pupils across the entire school have enjoyed a range of Fairtrade events this week. The eco committee have worked together to arrange activities for the other children to enjoy and experience. Activities included chocolate tasting; finding out about Fairtrade bananas; searching for logos on a range of products as well as finding the places where Fairtrade products are farmed on a world map. All of the pupils enjoyed the session. Quotes from the day include: ‘I really liked showing the different things that are Fairtrade.’ and ‘The chocolate was yummy!’

Cross Country 

Mr Giddings took members of the Cross Country team to the Co-op Academies competition. Our children showed the 6 Rs during the event particularly demonstrating resilience, reflective and relationships. Cheering each other on, the team came away with a range of individual medals as well as overall first place for the team - we are so proud of you all! ‘We remembered not to sprint at the start. We saved that for the end of the race.’
