Time to Talk 

In partnership with Mind, we have made ‘Time to Talk’. Pupils have completed activities in class With a focus on mental health and wellbeing. Please remember that we have a dedicated safe space and are here for anyone who needs to talk. Let’s have a conversation about mental health. 

Drax 

Pupils in Year 6 visited the power station Drax earlier this week. This learning linked to their science unit on electricity and pupils were able to see the different careers the people who worked there had. Pupils learnt about how electricity is produced. They even got a tour around the power station but needed ear protection, hi-vis jackets and  a hard hat to keep safe! 

Rackets cubed

A group of Year 3 and 4 pupils have attended their first few Rackets cubed sessions at Fearnville Leisure Centre. On a Monday night, Mrs Brennan and Miss McMaster take a group of pupils to enjoy STEM activities, sport and even delicious meals. At Rackets Cubed pupils are encouraged to try new things and develop their confidence. We are really looking forward to seeing what other things they get to enjoy over the coming weeks.
