World Book Day 6th March

Children enjoyed World Book Day by sharing books with children from other classes. Pupils came in PJs and some even joined us for bedtime stories with their families. Thank you for joining us.

Learning at Co-op Academy Oakwood

Some year 3 students learn to play the first 5 keys in the Piano club, and they are absolutely loving it! Peregrine Class have had the opportunity to take part in their bikeability training this past fortnight. They have been learning how to ride safely on the playground and local roads. Some have even learnt to ride for the first time ever on our playground! Greenfinches have followed instructions to draw their own trolls.

Herd Farm Residential

A group of pupils stayed at Herd Farm on residential. The children enjoyed ziplines, night walks, bushcraft, den building and so much more. Pictures will be shared with families next week. Thanks to Miss McMaster, Miss Jackson and Miss Spivey for taking and looking after the children

Careers Week

This week is National Careers Week. In school we have had an assembly to talk about this. We have all written our pledges to say how we will prepare for our future careers. Please ask your child what they want to be when they grow up and how they will get there. Use this QR code to visit the National Careers Week online Careers Fair and find out more.
