World Book Day 6th March

Next Thursday is World Book Day. Pupils can dress up in their pyjamas or as a book character as part of our Bedtime Stories theme. If they do not wish to dress in their pjs or as a character they need to be in uniform. Families will be invited to a bedtime stories after school event to share a book with their children. Come and join us for a story!

Learning at Co-op Academy Oakwood

The children in Year 1 had a surprise tea party this week. They have been reading ‘The Tiger who came to tea’. Who was is set up by? Nobody knows! Year 6 have been experimenting with different jumps in gymnastics. Year 5 have developed their clarinet playing. Year 4 have been splashing away in the pool at their swimming lessons.

Every moment matters!

Being in school every day is essential for children. It helps them learn, grow and make friends. Let’s do this together!
