Herd Farm 

Some pupils in Year 5 had the opportunity to attend the Herd Farm Residential Trip. The children had a wonderful time and completed many daring activities. Children enjoyed the zip line, crate-stack, leap of faith, nightline, orienteering, hiking and archery. All the pupils definitely showed the ‘Ways of Being’ particularly ‘Succeed Together’. 

Circus skills 

The circus came into Oakwood on Wednesday for the Year 5 ‘in school residential’ children. Children learnt how to juggle, hula hoop and plate spin. The children were also thrilled to see one of the entertainers ride a unicycle!

Attendance  

Every day counts. We have lots of exciting events happening in school so coming each day is really important. Missing a day means that your child misses key learning and experiences. If you need support please speak to Karen or Jane.
