Attendance extravaganza

This half term we are having an attendance extravaganza. Attendance is all about our families working together with school to get pupils in and learning. Each week families with children who have 100% attendance will be entered into a prize draw for a family hamper. Children will be placed in the ‘in it to win it’ draw with lots of prizes to be won. At the end of term those children with 98% attendance or above will have an in school gaming treat and their families will be entered into a prize draw for a supermarket voucher. You have to be in it to win it!

Community Eid celebrations 

Families from across the academy were invited to join us on Wednesday for a community celebration. Families enjoyed sharing treats, creating mehndi patterns, decorating biscuits and sharing stories with each other.  Thank you to all of the families who joined us for this special celebration. We cannot wait for our summer community picnic in July! 

Bridge building

Class 10 have been learning about bridges in DT last half term. They have learnt what makes bridges strong, and they applied that knowledge to build their own super-strong bridges! There are no trolls living under these!
