For two weeks each year at the end of February and start of March, thousands of individuals, companies and groups across the UK come together to share the stories of the people who grow our food and drinks. mine our gold and who grow the cotton in our clothes, people who are often exploited and underpaid.

Throughout the fortnight, children took part in fun activities and learnt about Fairtrade at home and in their classrooms. Here are some of the activities they took part in:

Reception had fun making banana muffins using Fairtrade ingredients.

Year 1….

With the help from the Fairtrade banana🍌 🍌 Year 1 learnt about Fair Trade. They looked for the symbol on the food packets, found out where they came from and placed them on the map.
