The Parenting Smart site is filled with a number of resources for parents and carers of 4-11 year olds. Their latest articles on supporting healthy gaming habits, developing a child’s talent and safe social media for younger children can all be read or watched in under ten minutes. These are perfect for those with limited time.
Phonics Screening week is June 12th 2023. We are really excited for all pupils to show off their phonics skills.
Reading helps your child to be successful now and in the future. Reading at home will help your child in many areas of their learning. Please read with your child each night to help them progress.

Andy Mcveigh, otherwise known as the ‘Burley Banksy’, and American International footballer and Leeds United Midfielder, Weston Mckennie, visited our Academy on Thursday 23rd of February to discuss the importance of Allyship.
The visit kicked off with a workshop held by Andy McVeigh. Pupils enjoyed working collaboratively to create eye-catching posters, focusing on important messages such as ‘Black Lives Matter’, ‘LGBTQ’, ‘Racism’ and various other statements that make a stand against discrimination.
