Options after Oakwood

On Thursday afternoon and after school, we were incredibly lucky to be joined by Co-op Academy Leeds, Bishop Young Academy, Trinity Academy Leeds, Wetherby High, Leeds Sixth Form College and Employment and Skills Leeds, who spoke to children and their families about options after Oakwood.

Children and their families had the opportunity to talk to all the different schools, colleges and employment services about what they had to offer the pupils once they leave Oakwood. Children had a great time finding out about the different secondary schools and what they had to offer them. Some of the schools even brought uniforms which the children were able to try out for size! Luckily there were clip-on ties! Some children even got to meet the teachers of their older siblings!

Lots of children enjoyed finding out about their next steps and we cannot wait to have our next careers fair.
